Art Odyssey 2009 Set for September 26-27

Carbon County Pennsylvania artists are staging a premier studio and gallery tour the weekend of September 26 &27 2009. Art Odyssey 2009, a free self guided walking and driving tour, from 11 AM to 5PM each day, involves over 50 artists covering a geographical area from Bear Creek Lake on PA 903 in the north to Blue Mountain Ski Area near PA 248 in the south.
The Borough of Jim Thorpe will highlight its finest artists, many with national and international reputations, by opening the doors to over 16 studios and galleries during the tour. Some of these are private galleries, only open to the public during Art Odyssey 2009.
In addition, there will be a large juried craft show at Blue Mountain Ski Area, and private studios in the County open only for the tour. A map and extensive information is also available on our website: http://www.carboncountyartists.com.
