It has been a long time coming, but after eight years of business and countless requests, Moya is finally doing brunch.
Diehard enthusiasts and first-timers alike can expect a classic, Moya take on brunch where only the freshest ingredients meet Chef Yunda’s personal designs – not to be outdone by co-owner Stephanie Verme’s signature cocktails: Elderflower Martinis and Mango Mimosas, just for starters.
Having prepared food in Ecuador, Turkey and New York City, Chef Yunda and wife Stephanie have found their niche in the heart of Jim Thorpe, where consistent quality is credited to a chef who tediously oversees every dish that leaves his kitchen. They are proud to serve what they themselves would want to be served.
In a quaint, Victorian town like Jim Thorpe, PA, brunch feels like a natural fit, but co-owner Stephanie Verme – the artist behind that special Moya vibe – has managed to achieve a particularly memorable dining experience, one in which elegant nuances blend seamlessly with a casual atmosphere: straightforward ingredients compliment each other, creating complex flavors; and where a spur-of-the-moment brunch gathering can turn into dinner reservations later that evening.
They can be reached at 570-325-8530. The restaurant is located directly across from the iconic St. Marks Church (you should check it out) at 24 Race Street, just up the street from the Train Station Visitors Center.
